How we make money.
The short answer: affiliate commissions. The long answer is below. We believe in explaining this properly because it explains everything else about how Looty works.
The core relationship
Looty.in is a participant in affiliate programs run by Amazon, Flipkart, and other Indian retailers. When you click a deal link on our site or Telegram channel and make a purchase, we earn a small commission from the retailer. You pay the same price either way — the commission comes out of the retailer's margin, not your pocket.
Why this matters to you
Affiliate income is how we keep Looty free and independent. Specifically, it lets us:
- Never charge users a subscription.
- Skip sponsored posts and paid placements.
- Reject products we don't think are genuinely well-priced, without worrying about a paying advertiser.
Why this shouldn't bias us (and what we do about it)
Every affiliate site says "we're objective, don't worry." That's not proof. Here's what we actually do:
- We don't rank by commission rate. A 2% commission product beats a 10% commission product if it's a better deal for you.
- We verify prices at the time of posting. If an MRP looks inflated for the sake of looking like a discount, the deal doesn't go up.
- We flag dead links fast. If you report a price that has jumped, we either update or remove the post within 24 hours.
- We don't do paid reviews. Brands occasionally offer money for featured placement. We say no.

- Flipkart Affiliate Program (occasionally)
- Other Indian retailers from time to time — each is subject to its own terms.
What we don't do
- We don't use cookie stuffing or any deceptive tracking.
- We don't iframe retailer checkout pages.
- We don't obscure affiliate links — every outbound link is clearly a redirect to the retailer.
- We don't fake user reviews or testimonials.
Your purchase, your retailer
When you click a Looty deal link, you're redirected to Amazon, Flipkart, or whichever retailer is hosting the offer. All payments, order fulfilment, delivery, returns, refunds, warranty claims, and customer support are handled entirely by that retailer. Looty.in does not sell products, hold stock, process payments, or ship anything.

Price accuracy
Prices and discounts change constantly. What looks like a great deal at 10 AM may be gone by 2 PM. We timestamp posts and try to catch changes, but always verify the final price at checkout on the retailer's site before purchasing.
